The existence of God, or at least *a* god, has also been proven by as many philosophers and great thinkers as those who have used logic to disprove the existence of God. The fact that no God can be seen by human eyes means that the argument will never cease. Faith has very little to do with logic, and those without will never understand those with. It's a thing that's either revealed to you or not. It doesn't make one man better than another. Please do not be confused about the difference between intelligence and faith.
I think, however, that our bickering about these issues points more strongly than anything I could say to the fact that everything craves a god, a thing to worship. Whether it's Christ, Buddha, a career, a relationship, money (far more ubiquitous than any other faith), or what have you, everyone worships.
It's inescapable. And yes, v3nt, we are most certainly disgressing. Something fundamental shrivels inside a person when they ignore the things that separate us from the apes. People start acting like babboons, we've seen it here.
