i've tried the encore dvd and i find it very buggy. i've been to the adobe forum and it's filled with complaints.
one of biggest gripes was that i couldn't build the dvd if i had to transcode the video assets within the program. so i had to reencode all my video assets to m2v files.
my opinion avoid the encore.
