I had a %&$$#"! lousy 2005, but that's maybe because I wished a great year only to myself last new year's eve. Your selfishness comes back at you.
I'm dedicating 2006 and beyond to others. The effort to understand and accept the people next to you brings wonderful stuff, and, really, that kind of comfort you can't find anywhere else. That's home.
