i don't think saving 245k by age 35 is impossible.
let's say you have 60-80k saved up by age 30.
if you make 100k/yr and put away 20% that's 20k a year. if you start making 150k and do 20% of that, that's 30k. it'll add up and be around 200k.
of course, if someone makes that salary range...
