Well, it's not really what the article says. You don't hurt the earth by planting trees. The earth, and trees don't give ahit where they grow. You negatively effect the climate for humanity depending on where we (humans) plant said trees.I mean, all the "earth friendly" criticisms always strike me a sbizre. Hey, I love our little blue green marble, but I'm basically Humanity friendly, you know? I'd like our climate to be most suitable for the success of our species..and amazingly that's something we can control. I never hear abou tthat - just "tree huggers" enviro-nuts"..whenever I hear these people talk they seem to have humanity's survival as the key issue...
