hey mafioso, something similar just happened to us a few weeks ago at spring creek. we'd never been led by this trail leader and he drove the group about a mile into a very icy shelf.
we were tailgunning and stopped about 20 yards in to tell them to stop. it took 2 hours to get all 7 vehicles backed down...they were sliding all over the place. on a SHELF!
