    I know, but it's quite difficult to actually form an identity for ourselves right now. At the same time, we could choose to go that way. I think this would mean that we would have to completely detach ourselves from the USA, or enhance our military. Both are things I wouldn't want to do right away.

    And it's not like Canada doesn't have some form of an identity, b/c there are obvious differences between it and the USA, and other places too.
