I have an second interview tomorrow at an e-comm design company. To the first one I wore a nice sweater, khakis and Eastlands. I feel so much more comfortable in that and I think it shows. I thought of wearing a suit. I bought some really stylish ones but I gained a little weight and now I look like a fat used car salesman in them. I think it is better to look like someone that fits in rather than an oddball used car salesman.
I have had another place tell me they thought it was great that I wore a suit and shows I can be professional in front of clients but I guess it depends where you are interviewing.
