    everything that mayo said! we are on exactly the same plan, apparently. it works hella good for us.

    eating out excessively will sabotage all your efforts, so make (or learn to make) meals at home - pretty satisfying and can be lots of fun.

    mayo, we stock up on proteins, veggies and starches and make balanced combinations every night. we actually like stuff like green beans and spinach in a can as a side, but not many people do.

    those zatarain's rice mixes (or whatever other brand) is a very quick meal...just throw some sort of meat and it's done. we make those when we both come home late. pretty cheap (bout the price of a pizza) but still a decent meal.
