drunk and carrying her locked bicycle on my back across town in the snow and up her stairs to put it outside her apartment as she and her boyfriend slept. it was early morning and we were up all night. the sun had just come up and i would be leaving for new orleans in another hour or so.
he would never know what we had done that night. he still doesnt.
i hated him.
