if you hit fly rite book elio (formerly of East Side Ink and the owner of fly rite) - he's the master of old skool over there but also the most expensive artist at the shop.
I'm not sure what kind of old skool imagery you're looking for but they fucking rock the swallows, and old sailor jerry style (hula girls, skulls, etc)
