frankly, i'm on the fence as far as the death penalty goes.
my major issue with this case is people lobbying for compassion (how many nobel prizes is he up for?) for this guy. it's nice to see someone (alledgedly) turn their life around, but c'mon, giving a few speeches and writing a couple (crappy) children's books are athe very least this guy could do, after the damage he's done and the inhumanity he's exercised in his early life.
i suppose my point is, if he is granted clemency, every death row inmate should be. this guy isn't special.
