I left the house today, the first occasion in quite some time.
As I wandered the busy streets looking at my people, I noticed that, whilst these ordinary folk were busy going about their business, their minds were in tune (or, as in fact I believe; out of tune, as society sees it) that they would look into my eyes, making sudden sweeping gestures and acute angles in order to do so - as if stirred by some inate force. They would look in my eyes and I had my faith restored in humanity, for I could see that they recognised God in my eyes, and nervously they cast their mortal gaze aside as they caught glimpse of the splendour of the Lord.
I am glad to have the Lord with me.
