I'm not saying my Mom is a bad shopper/gift giver. It's just that our tastes are very different.Example:
I told her that my girlfriend needs a kitchen apron. "Nothing fancy, nothing with pictures or words or anything."
She replied, "She wouldn't want one that says 'Kiss The Cook?"Me: "Uh, no."
Her, jokingly: "That's no fun, you guys are boring."
