I agree with spiralstarez: "i'll defend firefox."
the only problems I have had (I run it on a PC) is with media player pages (but then I use the open page in IE extension and it works).
sometimes it runs slower with a page of say, 50 pics on a page, but this is rate even when I do go to these big site with mucho images.
