i'm not totally learned on these matters but i do know that Paul, the guy who wrote a lot of the bible, is often seen as someone who got Jesus and his life and philosophy mixed up in scripture. he religionized Jesus the man so to speak

(Dec 4 05, 18:20)wadafa... Paul used to be Saul... a man who very much hated Christianity... but came to know Jesus - after Jesus' death he went on to preach and help organize some of the first congregations of Christianity.
His scriptures are mainly letters to those congregations that only exalted Jesus and his Father... but in no way 'relgionized' anything... that was God's doing by use of his son.
And Paul didn't write alot of the Bible either. Don't forget about the other 10 faithful apostles who also penned plenty of letters to congregations or like-believers of the time... some of those letters were historical reminders of on what happens when you don't live under God's law... some of the letters contained simple encouragement...
... seriously... just READ it... or don't argue it. It's like arguing actionscript w/an accountant... there's absolutely no base of knowledge.
