    I like movies that either make me think real deep or laugh out loud... e.g. Seven, Crash, Machinist or funny stuff like 40yr old Virgin and road trip movies that are actually funny without being (too) lame.

    Stuff like Ali G also crack me up, and I have the whole collection.

    Other than that for action films it must have a good plot, like Minority Report or Bladerunner.

    I also enjoy the occasional psycho film like Audition.
