    No one knows why there was a disparity. If you look into past elections, exit polls have always been very accurrate. A reliable method for judging the outcome. Not in the last election.

    The other problem is Diebold machines have no paper trail. So if someone were able to hack there way in and change the votes. Nobody would know.

    Some people think this is what happened in the last election. Going into the night Kerry was winnning by 51% according to exit polls. By the next day, the totals were exactly opposite. Bush was winnning by 51%.
