Eric Gill, designer of Gill Sans, forged his trade carving the grave stones of the dead. He wrote the news of the dead, the falsities and lies, he wrote them all, in Gill Sans and Perpetua. Imagine having a gravestone carved by Eric Gill. Imagine. His clients were corpses. What a dream.
