I saw George Best last year, standing on his own with a holdall, in the vestibule of the Victoria branch of HSBC Bank, eyes looking rather glazed as he swayed.
It was pretty sad really.
To be honest I dont have any respect for the man bar the fact that he was a great player, did any of you read that pathetic column he had in whatever pathetic sunday newspaper it was.. Absolute drivel, he once wrote how he wanted to have a fight with P Diddy for taking the piss out of his fully grown son or some shit.
Funny, a lot of people snub tramps and homeless people for being drunk or on smack, but lets face it, they are peolpe with real hardships and reason to turn to drink/drugs, maybe you should be telling yourself about these 'illnesses' next time you snub somebody on the streets.
