seriously - is that a fact - again odd - almost sounds like something an old white guy would say

so all "African Americans" are like yourself - well I guess in terms of skin colour but surely you don't think all A.A.s are exactly the same or that much different then other races in the same socio-economic class as yourself
I think what exadors saying is more important - try and find out more about people in your demographic, people living near you , with the same background - i just don't see how race is really relevant in drawing any conclusions about African Americans as a whole and how it relates to design - because I don't believe everybody from any race is similar enough to draw these broad assesments based on skin colour alone
don't get me wrong - I'm not saying anything overly negative here - I just put less emphasis on race as yourself I guess
