    i read in a recent article that even though more people use 1024x768 than 800x600, there is no accounting for how large the average browser window is on a higher resolution screen. Meaning, that you have 1600x1200 so that you can see more things at once, not so you can make your browser fullscreen all of the time.
    My screen in 1024x768, but i rarely, if ever , browse at fullscreen.
    Even with my monitor at work, which is 1920 x 1280, i barely keep it open wide enough to see this site without scrolling.
