I bought the 17" two weeks ago. No regrets here. Loaded with RAM and the faster drive it's one hell of a machine. Anywhere at all I can work at things with more than enough screen real estate to slaughter the work. It's only two inches more and a few more pounds. It totally replaced my home desktop and is a nice complement to my work machine.
