swamped.
today is the last day for the email marketing chick so the suits want to get everything done before she leaves, even though they've spent the last 2 weeks training another guy to take over for her. they 'don't want to take a chance.' hey... fuck you... i'm up to my ears in work before the holiday jackleg. just like last year i'm sure i'll see him walking out the door at noon, while i work late tonight.
what makes matters worse is that i'll be taking off from the 30th - 7th and they just asked me yesterday "hey, think we need to get someone in to fill in for you?" um... YEAH but it's too late now. the system is way too vast for anyone to learn in one day. we pull files from so many places over the intranet i still have to think for a sec where a file is.
