hmm, i'm really a noob at this.
last night i installed xxamp, trying to figure out how php works. i need to understand it to draw a webpage in a site where the client drops drawings+images; the script reads the folder and outputs stuff in a frame with a prev/next button.
xxamp, i think, opens ports 80, 443 (Apache) and port 3306 (MySQL).
i only have the default xp firewall. i guess i'm in deep trouble, no? can i specify somewhere in windows which ports to defend?
