wooooohoooo, seeing it tomorrow evening and I can't wait. I see the film as part of my birthday celebration, since every year it comes out it's during November.
I like that HP's audience is primarily my age because we grew up with him (I'm 19 now but got the first book when I was around 13, for my birthday), so I'm not made fun of being an adult.
There are so many other books that have young teens as the main characters and what are known as 'young-ppl stereotypes' in the novel, but a lot of those stereotypes are constructed by society.
So no, I don't think anyone is really too old for HP.
