I got the 17", works great, only gripes are that the edges of the screen marks the palm rest because it's aluminum rubbing against aluminum, buying a sheet or screen cover resolved that issue. Also, the headphone jack, when using headphones, doesn't sit all the way into the jack, but this does not affect usage. And yes, it does get a tad warm in heavy usage for an extended time, but it's not an issue for me.
If you're planning on carrying it around with you, invest in a well padded laptop sleeve.
