the devils rejects is far and away better than house of 1,000 corpses! I don't like 'house' either. In fact, the only people who like it, are horror movie buffs that 'get' all the references to other horror movies.
on the other hand 'rejects' is not a wildly original story, but stylized very well. and you can't complain about a movie that features a scene set to 'free bird' in it's entirety!
