Negativespace and I went to pick him up and what a nice guy he is... another reason to use grid, it makes u treat others nicely...

I believe, like Vignelli, Brockmann, Bosshard, and other that design should be objective... it should serve a purpose and the designer should not use design as a means to show off their artistic or express their "creativity"... communicate only please.
Grid is definitely THE way to achieve that objectivity... and as first yr design students say... using grid saves them alot of time and they usually get some sleep that way :D..
But coming back to Vignelli (after meeting him, hes my current "design-God") if any of u live around New York.. give him an email or call him and talk to this guy... hes a design legend and he LOVES to talk about design... and whenever he speaks, he utters more than 50 yrs of experience in design...
