Well, of course that's a miserable outlook, but, in all honesty, I think it's just about normal.
It definitely places value on those who might come into your life that prove to be interesting and unique. But don't f*ck it all up by looking for reasons that the person might potentially suck. That's when you start getting into trouble.
Just understand the few people in your sphere by knowing when you can trust them or look to them... don't hang on the negatives unless they impose their dirty laundry on you. That's when you might have a problem.
