  Don't be afraid to put in a couple projects that may not have turned out to be the best you've done. as long as you can talk about them wisely, expalin where the project may have gone off track and what you would do better this time. Or if you had concepts you preferred, throw those in as well...

  As for text, if you won't be there everytime to explain/represent yourself, then a bit of descriptive text is a good idea..

  6-10 pieces is completely acceptable as well..
