    Remember with OSX you have 3 choices in the Installer:
    1 - Refresh current System folder (Home and apps are untouched)
    2 - Backup current System folder and install fresh System folder (Home and apps are untouched)
    3 - Erase and Install (everything gone)

    Option 2 will solve most problems, rare that you need to do 3, unless you have Directory corruption or hardware faults...
