I'm not saying that they are all inflexible, mimio. I'm saying that a handful who are in the spotlight are willing to lie and do whatever it takes to censor ID and prevent the controversy being mentioned in schools. That said, everything I've read regarding peer review in particular, points to a tremendous sense of close mindedness to new ideas, especially those which challenge a major paradigm.
ID is not outside of the scientific community. It's very much part of it. With professors at major universities and research centers.
