  i really appreciate all your advice frankbb. thanks a lot. i know... i love my mac. i feel a little like im selling out. pc is just cheaper. unfortunately right now that takes priority. By Cpu are you reffering to the processor?

  here is what i was spec'ed:
  1. AMD AX 2400 xp inbox

  2. VGA GFORCE4 mx440 128 mb + TV

  3. DDR 512/400 x 2

  4. HDD Maxtor 120 7200

  5. DVD Toshiba OEM
