Mediocre?! Then I must be the SHIT! ;D Just saw your site, loving those paintings and illustrations (as well as the site's construction: clean, nice and straight to the point). Damn, you have talent, and we need that here! Seriously, I think that you could easily find a job either teaching or in something art/design related.
