Look "put together"......even if you dress kinda chill and relaxed, make sure that it still looks like you aren't a slacker pot-head. You can not wear a suit and still look good and look like you can be trusted with multi-million dollar accounts. The number one thing I can tell you is that if they specifically told you to not wear a suit and not wear jeans then DON'T.....no matter what. If they told you not to and you do then you'll look like you can't pay attention to detail and can't take direction.
I would go with something like......a nice pair of black slacks (plain front, not pleats), funky new sneakers (like some Puma's or something) but they gotta either be new or look new (not dirty or worn out) and a nice solid color button down shirt that either matches or contrasts with the color of the shoes. Either get a shirt that you can tuck in and have it "pillow" out a bit around the waist or get a short cut long sleeve button down shirt that you leave untucked but it only goes right below the belt buckle.....and then, definitely have some kind of funky watch on.......subconciously shows that you pay attention to time, schedules, deadlines, etc.
