    you're best to get permission first before going in filming as long as it is something kosha you are doing.

    The reason TRIGGER HAPPY get away with it is because they exploit the law.
    It is your lawful right (in the UK) to ask for a copy of ANY CCTV footage that has you on it.

    Theoretically you could walk along your local highstreet then wander in to the council offices and say "hi, ive just walked along the local high street half an hour ago and i'd like a copy of all the footaeg that has me on it"

    so the same goes for shops. once youve been in a shop and walked around, you can then go back in and say "can i have a copy of that tape cos its got me on it walking around your shop"

    imagine the chaos and complete waste-of-time it would be for council workers if EVERYONE exercised this right on the same day or over a whole week.
