the way i deal with my idols is their work at peaks....after that, they are entitled to go to sheit...i dont know of too many artist in the world that maintained freshness to their death if they lived a long life.
y'all need to shut the phuck up about mike. he had many peaks. look at this classic rehearsal footage:
you're phucking welcome. i KNOW none of you seen that sheit, what is he, like 8? respect the guy for his acheivement, and yeah u are allowed to hate on him for how phucked up he is now, but don't discount what he accomplished.

for real, i prefer off the wall. its more timeless...for me. yeah his stuff went down after Bad, but i dont care. Stevie fell off, but he gets all my respect for his work in the 70s. its like say looking at PrayStation's flash experimental stuff now. while now it ain't as invgorating, when that sheit first came out, it was fresh. y'all people need to get the phuck off the "if it ain't current and good, its bad" kind of mentality. yes, now he's a joke and mentally disturbed. but if you're not cool with artist being a parody of themselves in their older years, burn your Rolling Stones, Black Sabbath, U2, Depeche Mode and Santana records and shut the phuck up.
