Co-sign on losing the distressed look. Right now it looks like
a. a t-shirt from Urban outfitters
b. a beer label
c. a sign for a dive barSuggestions...
1. work in b&w...that's the key for a sucessful logo
2. get rid of the type you're working with
3. avoid dating the logo with something trendy ie. distressed look
4. avoid gradients and such
