It's a neat concept, it takes place like 90 days before the big gang meeting and what you do is build up the Warriors as a crew.
Rembrandt is who you start with to learn the controls and stuff (the young Warrior from the movie), but it looks like you can eventually be every character, but some "missions" are tailored specifically to others.
I hope it doesn't take place all at nite, because it's hard to see in some parts but I haven't played a full day yet, heh.
As for GTA, I can't really remember how that game was. The graphics for this game however are pretty nifty, but also means that before each level there is a pretty hefty load time.
Well worth the wait though.
