jevad, I know we've talked about this before.
I met him for the first time after a show in Dallas, told him about how his religious motivations had been really inspiring to me, how it made me want to be a better person. This was all true of course. He gave me a very sincere "wow, thanks alot" but was then distracted by some twerp wanting to tell him and Dan that his band covers In Circles and he plays the single note guitar part.
Jeremy kept looking back towards me and I could tell he was being polite to that person, but really wanted to get back talking to me. For whatever reason I left soon after that and that was it.
I don't get starstruck by people, but there's always been something really great about that moment, thinking about what we might have talked about, what he might have shared with me about himself that you'd never learn in an interview.Anyhow, for the big fans I'm sure some of you might like to steal the poster I have of the cover of How it feels that is signed by the three original members playing at that time.
Hanging in my apartment, I'll always have it.
