Maybe Dustin could time travel, and when he first launched the site couldn't wait for the usual response so traveled in time and read this thread, along with his guestbook.
He then with his tail between his legs (for no real reason), went back to start on becoming the next big thing with the kind and not so kind comments.
He then realized it was futile.
And drove into a bridge embankment.
