pocho, yeah, that's really interesting. i think the main thing that set me off with this rosa parks things is that i'm supersensitive to the history and context of the use of black iconography in marketing and this latest take, with acknowlegement of her death while at the same time advertising for apple, just rubs me the wrong way. it just feels like they're trying too hard.. or something.. i dunno.. with henson, i didn't feel the same way possibly because there isn't that incredibly horrific, degrading, and exploitative history behind it. hmmmm..
