I underline my previous post:
Kung Fu Hustle was not better than Shaolin Soccer. It was a gratuitous exploitative Chow movie. It lacks the comedic timing of his performance in God of the Gamblers II and his on-screen presence in Royal Tramp. Mind you, it wasn't as bad as "From Beijing with Love" or his remake of "A Chinese Odyssey" where he appeared fully haired as the Monkey King. Of course this is my opinion only, anyone is entitled to their own, even those who have poor taste and are still in their teens.
