It looks like you have 3 colors not 2. the overlap + transparency is a bit hard to read.
where your transparencies overlap you are creating tangents with the tip and tail of the two S's which is effecting the readability - give it some room to breathe.
I like the action in the R but it is reading more like a spark plug than a satellite.
If you are super hype about the transparency thing have it mutiply into the R as well.
