I've done a ton of work for my parents company and done very well. They started out as a small business and are quickly becoming a big business. Luckily even with investors and a board, they've been able to keep me on as art director, so in this case family works out. Also did an invite for my gramps last week, took about 5 minutes to do, didn't expect anything in return. Got a check for $100 two days later. So family is good.
This guy is a coworker and thought some work could come from this. I should've asked more about him before I said I'd do it. My fault.
