Dear Sir,
I was on your website and I do believe you can help me with my problem. I am from South America and owning a Computer is like owning a house and land in our country, very big deal, like Ron Burgandy.My computer was working very good up to monday. On tuesday morning when I swiched it on, it won't come up. I tried it for the whole day but nothing. Well, not the whole day. I worked in the field for a while and fed my mule, but for most of the day. The next day, I strapped it to my mule Hugo II and carried it to a computer technican and the same thing happened and he advised me to put in a new mother board in the computer.
Okay, he installed the new mother board and it did not work, so again , he advised me to change the sound card and it worked. Yay I said to Hugo II. Now the problem is, after using the computer about one and a half hours or two, the arrow freezes. I would then shut it off and start it up again but the same problem comes back again even less than 1 and a half hour. Very crazy. Is my computer possessed by the ghost of my father Hugo I?
What I would like to know is how could the computer, working good all the time without showing any freezing or problems, just won't work the next day? Pissing me off like when Hugo II poops in the freezer. Does a mother board just blow me out like that or could it have been another problem and I didn't need to put in a new board or sound card? I used a windows 95 first and the technican put in windows 98 with the new board - any difference with these to the problem? Please help, and if there is more information you would like, let me know. I have a blog and photos I can send. I do computer crafts eg brochures, letter heads, cards with your photo ,etc, and now this problem is putting me out of business and to buy a new one is very expensive. The technican says he cannot fix the fault and I would have to buy a new one. Please if this is so, let me know. I would be very thankful for your help. I once repaired my TV through the help of the internets once and from watching MacGayver and if there is anything you can advise me to do, I can do it. By the way, I am trying to write this very quickly before the computer freezes because I am cooking Hugo I and I some cheese sticks.
