    that's probably why i like schezuan and dim sum, spongebob. they're the only types of chinese cuisine i've ever had made by a half decent chef (in nyc, both times).

    but if you can get decent italian, thai, haute french, vietnamese, cambodian, ghanaian, ukranian and salvadoran cuisine outside of those countries, i should hope an entity the size of fucking china could muster up a few chefs for export who know how to do something besides fry a rubber chicken with some rubber cement and blast the whole goddamned mess with msg so that you don't notice it's the consistency of ectoplasm and tastes like old ladies.
