TIP: "to ensure promptness". tip accordingly.
service industry people make less than minimum wage and basically survive on tips. i work for a large restaurant chain who's waiters/waitresses get paid $2.17 an hour to start and depend on tips for the rest.
if you get good service, you should tip. there is no mandatory tip charge like in europe and stiffing these people IF they do a good job isn't nice.
who cares how much the guy makes and what he drives, anyway.
