It'a all a matter of taste. I go to alot of shows where the sound is really noisy and loud, and I understand it when people say "how can you listen to that crap", but those statements are mostly from people who are really into the Neptunes sound or Fatboy Slim or whatever.
I like my rock'n'roll hard and rough. I listen to a lot of punk rock and stoner rock, and I don't always go to their shows to hear perfect sound.
I'm chasing the punch, the raw energy, the rock'n'roll attitude.
Ever been to a Hives show? One of the most popular rock bands right now. They don't exactly sounds pleasant. But that doesn't matter, because they are honest, and they rock.
I'm really looking forward to the next Donnas show in Norway. I will be there, and I will love it.
